Today we finally made it out to visit our friend Dave Barnes at his beautiful property. His friend Julian brought out some climbing equipment and the trees provided an awesome morning.
We also learnt about chickens, deer, moose, skulls, mother earth, acorns and oh so much more!
It was wonderful to watch the kids learning and running free! Pure unschooling bliss!
We didnt get dressed all day!!!
We colored and talked about the phases of the moon, mandelas and lots of other fun conversations thrown in there!
And then dad showed up with a gift from a friend and the universe plops treasures in our lap! Beads and more beads and more beads! Em is in heaven with grand entrepreneurial dreams!
We headed down to the local global market for emersyn to spend the market bucks she won at the last market we went to. She knew which vendor she was buying from... and headed straight to this table to buy jewelry!
She took a long time deciding on the perfect earings and ring!
I scored some delicious lip balm and homemade local honey dill sauce! Oh and potatoes!!!
our local college early childhood education class put on their annual mud day! It was a fun to see the kids having a blast with dirt, water and a few props.
After over 4 hours it started to rain so we ended the day chilly, muddy and tired!
Our first coop of the year was this week!
I missed this weekly meeting and it was excited to see new families!
The project was to create something to protect an egg to keep it from breaking!
The creativity was flowing and the kids had fun!
