Books

Our rotary book sale is this weekend so we spent some time there this morning.  And then sat outside reading! Unschooling rocks!

Dog park day

It was a beautiful fall day so we spent some time at the dog park this afternoon! Roxy didnt know what to make of the two other bigger dogs that were there.

Other than that on the learning side of things Em and I read a dictionary for about an hour and she is currently watching a documentary on wolves!

And we made gluten free apple crisp! And chicken stock is simmering on the stove! Productive day I would say!

Last beach day

Our Friday plans were to catch up and clean the house BUT a call from a friend to invite us to the beach! So we grabbed our gear and off we went on an adventure! Another reason I LOVE homeschooling or in our case unschooling!

So we spent the day with an adorable ginger and her daddy!

Wish book and car show

We haven't received the sears wish book in many years. Last Christmas I ordered something from sears so this is Emersyn's first experience of finding the wish book in the mailbox!

This brought many flashbacks of my little Shyan sitting for hours poring over every detail of every toy!

Then we toodled off to the last cruise night of the season! Ate too much yucky food, saw old friends and said goodbyee to the season!
