Halloween printables
Hello pinterest em was bored and this mama is dealing with wisdom tooth pain so pinterest came to the rescue with some halloween activities. .. some searchaword mazes and other odds and ends
Pumpkin carving
Rich and em grew this giant pumpkin from seed this year... she weighed in at over 50 pounds!
Homeschool coop #5
This weeks coop was to celebrate halloween. We dressed up in costume and brought gluten free snacks to share. We learnt about The Day of the Dead celebration in south america and designed a skull in our art journals. We read books and shared tricks that we had prepared... em did a disappearing coin trick with a wine glass it was so much fun to practice a trick to share with the group.

Science day
Science day!
Em pulled out her rocks today and after examining the with the magnifying glass we decided to see which rocks float. Then we weighed them, wrote down the weights, compared the weighrs, made observations about the weights. Weighed other objects in comparison and did drop tests.
And then we played a few rounds of yatzee (sneaky math stuff here!)
Boy that looks like a full day!

Crystal and girls hosted coop this week. We played charades and acted out a few short plays. The kids dressed up in character.
Em was the tortoise and the grandmother in little red riding hood.

Play day
Benefits of unschooling... em was immersed in playing littlest pet shop and she played most of the afternoon.
She dressed up for her friends birthday party today first thing then made Rachael a card and decorated her package.
