We spent Wednesday morning with our friends playing in the pool, painting fingers and toes and face painting.
Roxy is such a goofy puppy!

After our beach day we were invited to a pool party and bbq with our old neighbors. Em and these boys are best of friends and they are more like family after all these years!
We spent the day at Minnedosa Beach to beat the heat and humidity! A long lazy day at the beach meeting new friends was just what I needed!
Our local museum offers a program on Thursday afternoons. We played a Victorian lawn game, treasure hunt, learned about the language of flowers, sketched the gardens and flowers and had a tour of the museum. It was a beautiful day and a nice way to spend a summer's afternoon!
We had a visitor while granny had an acupuncture appointment. Emersyn and poppa played "school" which she has no idea what school actually is. She thought it was so funny that poppa was getting math questions wrong. Come to think of it she has no concept of having a wrong answer... interesting benefit of unschooling!
Last year emersyn dog sat as part of our research for getting our own dog. She was asked to dog sit again for friends. So cassey came for a visit... em was disappointed that it was so hot and humid we couldn't go for a walk.
My best friend slash sista made the decision a few weeks ago to move to alberta! This news brought me to my knees for a few days... cried for 48 hours straight. And I can still instantly go into full on ugly cry! But through my tears I can see that an amazing opportunity this is for her and the girls! An exciting purging of what no longer serves us and stepping into a new journey! She is the most amazing person I know and the healing she has done this year is inspiring to say the least! I am honored to have been witness to and the incredible amount of growth and healing that has taken place!
Eme and I spent a few days helping and loving these beautiful ladies before they leave on Monday!
Onward to Daysland!
Some serious cuteness! My cousins have the sweetest most adorable baby... she is gorgeous! And of course the hit of tue gathering... miss 5th generation!
We spent the weekend with my mom's side of the family. Five generations were there which was really mind blowing to figure out 1st and 2nd cousins. We sure have grown over the years. We sure missed those who were too far away to make it... brandy and bob, kayton and family, debbie and family, sarah you were all there in our hearts! Michelle and Andrew hosted and Michelle's mom and dad did up the yummy pig!
It was a great weekend! Every gathering reminds me time is precious and you never know when it will be the last be the last time you see someone! Hug someone you love tight today! Blessed!
